THE MAZZETTA COMPANY, LLC
believes the preservation of
the environment is everyone’s
responsibility. Their Mazzetta
shrimp is farm-raised and
harvested without endangering
the habitat of the sea turtle or
any other marine animal. Here is
one of their favorite recipes.
Mazzetta Shrimp de Jonghe
2 pounds Mazzetta raw shrimp, 1/2 cup seasoned Italian bread crumbs
thawed and rinsed
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1/2 cup butter Salt and freshly ground pepper
4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Juice of 1 lemon
1 pound pasta, cooked according to
1 cup dry white wine package directions
11. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place shrimp in a single layer in a large glass
baking dish.
2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat; add crushed garlic and cook
until garlic turns fragrant, about 1 or 2 minutes. Add lemon juice, wine, bread
crumbs and parsley. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
3. Pour butter mixture over shrimp and sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Cover and
bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Uncover dish and broil on high for 3 to 5 minutes, or until
top turns crisp and crunchy. Serve over pasta. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
