Getting real with Rhonda
Rhonda Abrams article “When in doubt,
get real,” which ran in the September issue of
The Costco Connection, struck home for me.
[In the article Abrams writes about what she
calls “the fraud factor,” a feeling of inadequacy
that most people experience when they enter a
new phase of life or are faced with a situation
with which they are unfamiliar.] After surviving breast cancer, I started my own company
making sleepwear for women suffering night
sweats (

on my site that I update often, touching on
breast cancer issues. I have become an advocate
for breast cancer. Sincerity and commitment
are all about what Rhonda calls “getting real.”
