Keeping it clean
IF YOUR DREAM of outdoor-furniture maintenance is soap, water and as little elbow grease as possible, then Costco’s Kirkland Signature™ spring
lineup is your cup of tea.
top stone by allowing more cleaning time for accidental spills.
S-B-S Sealer is a specially formulated tabletop
sealer recommended by the manufacturer, and
should be applied prior to using any alternative
stone-top table outdoors. The sealer will protect the
tabletop from fading in the sunlight and will bond
below the surface to eliminate peeling. Maintaining
the protective sealer is very important!
After cleaning, rinse with plenty of clean water
to remove any soap residue. Dry thoroughly to prevent residue from minerals that might be present in
the water, even softened water.
With S-B-S Sealer, special care or cleaning
materials are not required; however, avoid petroleum solvents, which can break down and weaken
the protective qualities of the sealer. Soap and water
are all you need. If, by mistake, a solvent is used, and
it has affected the sealer, do not worry. After it is dry,
simply add more sealer to restore the finish.

Straps
Clean straps by washing frequently with mild
soap and warm water. In areas with heavy pollution
or smog, use commercially available cleaners. Do
not use abrasive materials or cleansers. Maintain
straps with an application of commercially available
vinyl protector. This will also strengthen, enhance
the appearance and prolong the life of the straps.
Cushions and slings
Clean cushions and slings by wiping up minor
spills with mild soap and a damp cloth. Although
the fabric has been treated to resist stains, over time
it may be necessary to use commercially available
cleaners. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Maintain cushions and slings by storing them in a
dry area out of the elements or covering them with
commercially available furniture covers when not in
use. If your furniture is being used in an area where
birds and trees are plentiful, covering the cushions is
especially recommended.
Glass tabletops
Use mild soap and water or commercially available glass cleaners. Do not use cleansers or abrasive
materials.
Stone tabletops
The stone on your table has been sealed, but it
still requires regular cleaning. Clean the tabletop
with a soft, clean white cloth (one that won’t bleed
color) or sponge. Use clean warm water and a mild
dish soap. Never use scouring creams or abrasive
cleansers that might scratch the sealer finish.
Accidental spills should be cleaned immediately. Just wipe up with a damp cloth. Use of S-B-S
Sealer will minimize possible damage to the table-
Umbrella precautions
When using an umbrella
with a table, always make sure
the protective ring is in the
umbrella hole and the
umbrella is secured using a
sturdy umbrella base. Never
use an umbrella without
the protective ring or an
umbrella base.
Always remove the umbrella
from the table and store when
not in use.
Never use any
umbrella in a
table during
windy conditions. C
