Costco negotiated an
outstanding value for mem-

price for Business and Gold Star

members is $16.04 through December 14, then $17.25. DHL normally charges $19.50 for the box.

The two-day-delivery ShipReady Box joins three prepaid overnight envelopes in the DHL line. All ShipReady products are purchased exclusively online in multiples of 10 with no expiration date, limited to delivery to and use within the 48 contiguous United States.

Home lockout
assistance a
new benefit

EXECUTIVE MEMBERS who have purchased a home or condo policy through Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance are eligible for home lockout assistance. This new benefit helps cover the expense of a locksmith when the insured is locked out of his or her home. Mobile locksmith services are also available under this benefit.

Home lockout assistance brings the number of Executive benefits available in the Auto & Home Insurance program to four, including roadside assistance and lifetime renewability on auto policies and glass breakage reimbursement on home policies.

The new home lockout assistance covers up to $100 per occurrence, is limited to two claims within any consecutive 12-month period and may be subject to specific conditions.

Executive Membership
means more savings

MANY MEMBERS who upgrade to Costco Executive Membership cite being attracted by the 2% Reward—an annual rebate check based on most Costco purchases that arrives with membership renewal notices. But a growing number of converts cite the Executive Member benefits associated with Costco services as being equally attractive.

If you own a home, drive a car, write checks or invest in stocks, there is a Costco service program that can save you money. That’s also true if you have a business and use a Web site, toll-free numbers or credit-card processing, or have employees and need payroll processing or small-business health insurance.

Gold Star and Business members save on all of these services, but Executive Members save the most. Visit the Member Services kiosk at your local Costco or go to costco.com and click on “Services” for more details.

Business financing
service being tested

COSTCO HAS TEAMED again with Capital One, this time to provide a business financing program for members, currently being tested in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah and Washington. The program provides business lines of credit and business loans from $15,000 to $100,000 with no collateral required and exclusive rates for Costco members.

The lines of credit have reduced annual fees for Costco members. Executive Members pay only $69; Business and Gold Star members pay $89. With the business loan program, Executive Members receive a $50 Costco Cash card six to eight weeks after loan activation.
