Once you’ve chosen a custom window-covering solution, it’s time to measure, order, install and enjoy!
Easy three-step measuring*
Determine whether you want an inside or outside mount. An inside mount is
installed within the window casing, while an outside mount is installed outside
the window casing, covering an area larger than the window itself.
Using a steel tape measure (a cloth one may stretch, giving you inaccurate
results), follow these three simple steps to ensure a perfect fit all around.
1. Width. Measure in three places, from left to right; use the
smallest measurement.
2. Height. Measure in three places, from top to bottom; use the
smallest measurement.
3. Diagonal. Measure in two places,
from top left to bottom right and top right
to bottom left. If diagonal measurements
are not equal the window opening is not
square, and you may want to consider an
outside mount for optimal light control
and aesthetics.

manufacturer may specify additional

Do-it-yourself installation
When you receive your custom window
coverings, you’ll find everything you need to
install them yourself, including all brackets and mounting hardware, as well as
easy-to-follow instructions.

Select the color and fabric for
your window coverings by viewing and
feeling an actual swatch of the materials. You can check out a sample book at
your local Costco warehouse to take
home, view the fabrics in the warehouse
display or request fabric swatches on
www.memberblinds.com. A checkout
fee will be refunded to you when you
return the sample book.
Measure your windows following
the how-to-measure instructions for the
product you have selected (see “Easy
three-step measuring,” at left). For convenience, the Web site listed above has
a work sheet for you to use. Print it out
and fill in your measurements.
Fill out the purchase form.
The form can be completed at your
local Costco warehouse, or you can take
the form home to complete. For step-by-step ordering assistance, call toll-free

Pay for your order at the warehouse by bringing the completed form
to a cashier.
Mail the green copy using the
postage-paid envelope provided on the
purchase-order form. (These can also be
faxed.) Your order will not be manufactured until a confirming green copy of
the order is received.
The blinds you have ordered will be
shipped directly to the address specified
on the purchase-order form. Install and
enjoy your new window coverings.
