STUDIES HAVE SHOWN that when a woman feels she looks good, she does
better at work and in her personal life. I believe that’s true. Additionally, you
can’t hide your face from the world. If you take care of your skin it shows,
and if you don’t take care of it, it shows.
Makeup and skin care have always been a passion of mine. I’d like to
spread that passion by sharing some of my beauty secrets.
Skin-care regimen
Before applying makeup, make sure you cleanse and hydrate. This is
essential for smooth, flawless skin. I suggest this simple daily facial regimen.
Morning
• Step 1. Cleanse with a moisturizing cleanser.
• Step 2. Apply age-defying wrinkle serum.
• Step 3. Apply moisture lotion with SPF protection
(a minimum of 15 is recommended).
• Step 4. Apply protective eye cream.
Evening
• Step 1. Cleanse with a moisturizing cleanser.
• Step 2. Apply age-defying wrinkle serum.
• Step 3. Apply restorative night cream.
• Step 4. Apply protective eye cream.
It’s important to follow a complete skin-care regimen—one that includes
cleansing and moisturizing—because doing so effectively provides both reparative and preventative treatment for your skin. Most cleansers and moisturizers
are designed to work individually, but they provide maximum benefits when
used together. For additional benefits, complement your regimen with targeted,
area-specific skin care—for your nose, forehead, cheeks, etc.
Steps to perfect makeup
Perfect makeup complements perfect skin. Follow these simple and easy
makeup steps to achieve that perfect radiance every woman deserves.
Concealer. A concealer is the best-kept secret you will ever have. It is the
perfect cover for dark circles. Start application under the eye, then move up to
the lash line and into the inner corner of the eye. Gently blend with fingers or
a concealer brush to meet your complexion needs. To freshen up your face
late in the day, add more concealer. It works wonders.
Foundation. After the concealer, layer with foundation. Always use foundation, because it protects your face from harmful environmental elements.
Select a foundation that includes a sun protection factor of at least 20 as well
