WHEN SELECTING what type of
flooring to install, consider one of our
new Harmonics laminate choices.
These include the classic looks of oak,
maple and an exotic version of
mahogany with a beveled edge. My
personal favorite is the chestnut color
with a hand-scraped look. It shows
the detailed graining, unique character and authentic appearance of a vintage hardwood floor.
Laminate flooring is beautiful, more
durable than real wood and virtually
effortless to clean. And it’s hypoaller-genic. In addition, it is environmentally
responsible, as 78 percent of the content is postindustrial wood waste.
Another benefit of laminate flooring is
easy installation, you don’t have to
glue or nail down the new flooring to
the surface below.
Each one of these new products is
at least 8 mm thick with a 2 mm underlayment pad already attached to the
bottom of the plank. This pad acts as a
sound barrier, adds additional comfort
and makes installation even easier. The
Harmonics flooring also comes with a
35-year residential warranty.
