Bundle to save on
check products

BUSINESS USERS of the Costco Check Printing service can now save even more when they order business products in bundles. A bundle consists of any order combining business checks with deposit tickets, envelopes, binders and deposit bags.

The business-bundle savings are available only by phone order. Call toll-free 1-866-373-6048 to talk with a check expert who will help determine the best bundle for a specific business.

New feature for
health insurance

AETNA TERM life insurance is now available to Costco members in California, Nevada and Washington enrolled in the Small Business Health & Dental Insurance program. Employees may be eligible for $10,000 to $100,000 term life coverage depending on the size of the small business they are enrolled through.

Timing good
for auto loans

COSTCO SERVICES manager John Gleason reports that now is a good time to finance a new auto loan or maybe to consider refinancing an existing auto loan to get a lower rate.

“While there isn’t a one-for-one relationship between changes in the federal funds rate and auto loan rates, changes in the short-term cost of money certainly influence the rates for auto loans,” says John. “Since the Federal Reserve began lowering the federal funds rate last fall, rates for new auto loans have been in decline—in fact, the rates for new vehicles through Costco’s Auto Loans & Refinancing program have declined nearly a full percentage point since last August.”
