Beef Fajita Burgers
Dakota Beef
1 1/3 pounds Dakota Beef* organic
ground beef Organic
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons fresh thyme
Hot sauce to taste
3/4 tablespoon grill seasoning
4 crusty rolls
PEPPERS AND ONIONS
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 red bell peppers, seeded and sliced
1 yellow onion, sliced
1 jalapeño chile, seeded
and chopped
2 cups green salsa
In a bowl, combine beef, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, cumin, thyme, hot
sauce and grill seasoning; mix well. Form into 4 patties.
Grill burgers to desired doneness.
To prepare the peppers and onions, heat olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat.
Add bell peppers, onions and jalapeño; sauté until tender. Stir in salsa and heat just
until warmed.
Place burgers on rolls and top with peppers and onions. Makes 4 servings.
