Summer hoop dreams
JUST BECAUSE THE NBA season is over,
there’s no reason to suffer from basketball
withdrawal. The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) has kicked off its
13th regular season—June through September—of league play with 13 teams. And to
sweeten that attraction, Costco Event
Tickets is selling discounted game tickets for
12 out of 13 of those teams.
The savings range from 25 to 55 percent
off the face value of the tickets, and the
teams include, in the Eastern Conference,
the Atlanta Dream, Chicago Sky, Connecticut
Sun, Detroit Shock, Indiana Fever, New York
Liberty and Washington Mystics; and, in the
Western Conference, the Los Angeles
Sparks, Minnesota Lynx, Phoenix Mercury,
Sacramento Monarchs and Seattle Storm.
