The Importance of Disinfecting
Disinfecting your home on a regular basis is essential. Every time someone touches a surface, germs are spread. Cleaning those surfaces with products such as Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes and Clorox® Clean-Up® Cleaner with Bleach kills 99.9% of household germs, including viruses that cause colds and flu.**
**Use as directed on hard, nonporous surfaces.
Teach Your Kids Prevention
You can’t monitor every surface your kids touch. But you can make
them aware of the germ hot spots. And keep reminding them of
these important prevention measures:
1. Cough and sneeze into your elbows.
2. Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20
seconds, about as long as it takes to sing “Happy Birthday”
two times.
3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
There are some things parents can do too, such as making sure kids get plenty of
sleep and exercise, drink lots of water and eat nutritious meals.
Use products as directed on hard nonporous surfaces.
