Online tool makes your
Web site easy to find
THE BUSINESS WEB SITE Service available to
Costco members through Hostway since 2004 has
made Web site creation and maintenance a snap.
Now, Costco members have a new tool that can help
promote their business to a larger audience.
“According to a survey from PriceGrabber.com, the
economic downturn has changed the way people
look for goods and services, with a greater percentage of online consumers spending more time
searching the Internet for deals than ever before,”
says Ed Murphy, manager of Costco’s program.
“And most respondents to the survey said that they
plan to continue this money-saving strategy.”
That means having a Web presence is more
important than ever for small businesses.
“A Web presence goes beyond a Web site,” says
Ed. “Businesses also need listings on major Internet
directories. This increased visibility can mean
increased business from Web-surfing consumers.”
Hostway’s Business Web Site Package now
includes the Instant Business Broadcast feature.
The new feature submits a business profile to up to
20 of the most popular, high-traffic Internet directories, including Google, Bing and Yahoo!

Web service providers might charge $200 to $400
