Not a dry eye in the house
I was interested to read your article on
Dry Eye Awareness Month in the July 2010
issue. My 16-year-old daughter suffers from
dry eye syndrome and has difficulty wearing
contact lenses as a result. Imagine our delight
when her eye doctor plugged her large lower
tear ducts and stopped her tears from draining out, which largely eliminated her dry eye
problem. Plugging ducts is a fairly inexpensive procedure and should be considered by
those who suffer from this malady.
