Yoshida’s Meatloaf
Mr. Yoshida’s
2 pounds lean ground beef
Preheat oven to 375°F.
1 cup plain dry
bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup Mr. Yoshida’s*
Original Gourmet
Marinade & Cooking
Sauce, divided
In a large bowl, mix together beef, bread crumbs,
onion, eggs and 1/2 cup Original Gourmet Sauce.
Form into a loaf shape and place in a 13-by-9-inch
baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes. Brush the top and sides of the
meatloaf with the remaining 1/2 cup Original
Gourmet Sauce. Bake for another 15 minutes, or until
cooked through. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Makes 8 servings.
Tip: If desired, add 2 cups of assorted chopped fresh
vegetables to the baking dish surrounding the meatloaf. Brush with Original Gourmet Sauce when brushing
the meatloaf.

Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a large ovenproof skillet, heat oil over medium
heat. Add garlic and onions; sauté for 2 minutes.
Add oregano, cumin, tomatoes, olives, vinegar,
raisins and capers to the skillet; cook for 4 minutes.
Add pot roast to the skillet, cover and cook in the
oven for 25 minutes, or until hot.
Serve over rice. Makes about 6 servings.
