FINDING A FLAT TERING swimsuit just got
a bit easier: Costco has partnered with
Miraclesuit to create an exclusive collection of
Kirkland Signature one-piece control swimsuits that are not only comfortable, but also
create a shapely silhouette.
Kirkland Signature control swimwear is
constructed to shape and contour the body for
a slimmer look without the discomfort of
bulky linings or girdles.
According to Cecilea Dweck, vice president at Miraclesuit, the science behind this
slimming technology is built into the design of
the suit as well as the proprietary fabric, which
contains three times more spandex than other
swimwear fabrics. The spandex yarns are also
triple the size of yarns found in other suits.
“This technology is what gives our swimsuits
more holding power, so you have the control
and shaping you want in a swimsuit, and you
can feel secure, confident and look great,”
Dweck says.
The swimsuits are available in sizes 8 to 18.
To achieve the most shaping, members should
choose their regular size. If a slightly looser
fit is preferred, simply pick the next size up.
Tryna O’Neil, buyer for women’s apparel at
Costco, says, “We are offering a significant
savings over retail on key styles and prints
that appeal to women of all ages.”
Tryna’s team worked with Dweck’s
to offer exclusive prints to Costco
members that are “all fashionable
and on-trend.” Members can select
from three silhouettes and assorted
prints and colors. (Styles and sizes may
vary by location.) The precise draping,
shirring, piping and patterns were all spe-
cifically chosen to help create a trimmer
appearance.
The swimwear is perfect for all sorts of
activities, such as sunbathing, lap swimming,
water aerobics, or playing with your kids in
the pool.
When the sun comes out this season, don’t
worry about finding a new suit. However you
spend time by the water, Kirkland Signature
swimwear offers a flattering, comfortable fit
suited for any activity. Item #702491. Also

THE BACKYARD OR patio is often the
gathering place for family and friends when
the weather warms up. With decent weather
around the corner, a great hub for your
gatherings might just be a new outdoor dining set. Members searching for an attractive
addition to their outdoor living space will
want to check out the Kirkland Signature™
Seven-Piece Alumicast Dining Set. If you
don’t have a yard, you’ll want one.
“We were looking for a good balance
between great design, function and very low
maintenance for our member base,” says
Kari Haugen, Costco’s outdoor furniture
buyer. “The value is in the cast-back swivel
rockers and the gorgeous porcelain tabletop.
It took several rounds of adjusting the
details after initial design—as is often the
case with Kirkland Signature offerings—to
be sure this set was worthy of the Kirkland
Signature brand.”
The set includes a dining table with an
Italian porcelain tabletop and six swivel
rocker armchairs with cushions made of
Sunbrella fabric.
“Sunbrella is always resistant to stains,
mildew, chlorine and fading,” says Kari. “It
also carries a five-year warranty.”
The set is constructed of no-rust alumi-
num, and painted surfaces receive a multi-
step powder coat, which creates a hard
finish that is tougher than conventional
paint to hold up to all climates.
The center hole in the table holds an
umbrella pole up to 1. 9 inches in diameter,
and the table is 79. 8 inches long, 41. 8 inches
wide and 28. 8 inches high.
If you’ve been shopping for an outdoor
dining set, you will know right away that a
similar set at a specialty retailer would cost
several times the price of the Kirkland
Signature set. But at Costco, it’s only $1,499.99.
