I have created a “fairy garden,” all in miniature scale, with a castle, winding walk lined with polished marble stones, and
numerous hanging crystals on strings that send off reflections when the sun hits them and a gentle breeze spins them.
Every morning, in every season, I like to stand at this view with my mug of coffee in hand. This is a garden of many years, but still
never fails to surprise me with its unfolding drama every day. There’s nothing like the Midwest for enjoying the changing scenery.
A small pond and waterfall off our backyard patio capture the sound of splashing water as a means of relaxation on the patio
and inside the house. Plants were chosen for variety of colors, textures and shapes. Every season brings new scenes to enjoy. S
