SUNKIST® LEMON-HERB MARINADE Sunkist Growers, Inc.
Marinating is a simple, versatile technique
that can be used to enhance ;avor in a variety
of dishes. Pair your freshly squeezed citrus
marinade with meat, poultry or ;sh, or add
a delicious zing to vegetables.
1 Sunkist® lemon, zested
¼ cup freshly squeezed Sunkist lemon juice
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
3 tablespoons minced fresh thyme
3 tablespoons minced fresh chives
2 tablespoons minced fresh basil or rosemary
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
In a small bowl, whisk together all marinade
ingredients. Place choice of meat, fish or poultry
in a resealable plastic bag. Add about 1 tablespoon
marinade for each portion of protein. Marinate,
refrigerated, a minimum of 30 minutes or up to
24 hours. Season with salt and pepper before cooking.

Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice adds a tangy
twist to this refreshing mule, a trending
cocktail that’s easy to mix up at home.
1½ ounces vodka
2 ounces freshly squeezed Sunkist grapefruit juice
4 ounces ginger beer
Candied ginger for garnish
Sunkist® lime wedge for garnish
Fill an old-fashioned glass or copper mug with ice.
Add vodka and grapefruit juice. Top with ginger beer
and stir. Thread candied ginger and lime wedge on
cocktail pick and use to garnish drink. Makes 1 serving.
