TAWNY NECTARINE SAUCE
6 Farm 2 You organic nectarines, in ½-inch dice
½ cup tawny port wine
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
6 large mint leaves, chopped
Heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add all
ingredients except mint. Cook, stirring, until sauce is thick.
Remove from heat, transfer to a shallow container and
chill until use. Stir in mint. Serve over ice cream or sorbet.
Makes 4-6 servings.
