GRAPE CHUTNEY BAKED BRIE
Divine Flavor LLC
1 tsp olive oil
½ tsp black (or brown) mustard seeds
½ tsp fennel seeds
1 small dry chile
2 cups Divine Flavor grapes
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp each paprika and fennel powder
½ tsp cumin
8 oz Brie cheese
1 Tbsp honey
¼ cup walnuts
Heat oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat. Carefully add
the mustard and fennel seeds, and chile. After 5 seconds,
add the grapes, sugar and salt. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook and stir constantly for 3 minutes. Sprinkle on the
paprika, fennel powder and cumin; cook and stir 6 minutes,
or until the grapes soften. Lightly crush the grapes; remove
pan from heat. Cool slightly.
Heat oven to 350 F. Place the cheese in a baking dish. Drizzle
honey over cheese. Top with most of the grape chutney and
all walnuts. Bake 20 minutes, then serve immediately with
crackers and remaining chutney. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
