New York
Style Sausage
In 1947, Frank D’Ambrosio Sr. left New Haven,
Connecticut, to seek his fortune in Santa Clara,
California. He immediately missed eating the
sausage of his old neighborhood and seized the
opportunity, distributing free samples from a
family recipe to the local markets in his new
home. The response was enthusiastic. Frank’s
sons still use the same recipe today. New York
Style Sausage Company is proud of its tradition
of high-quality lean sausage, made fresh daily
with no preservatives or MSG. It’s been family
owned and operated for more than 50 years.
