Jerry Traunfeld is the author of the award-winning The
Herbfarm Cookbook and a new cookbook, The Herbal
Kitchen. He won the James Beard Award for Best Chef in
the Northwest and Hawaii. Since 1990 Traunfeld has headed
the kitchen at The Herbfarm restaurant in Woodinville,
Washington, where his herb-inspired menus have garnered
national acclaim.
