Farmer John Baja Bacon Bites
Specially cured and hardwood smoked, Farmer John Bacon
adds a rich western flavor to this dish.
12 strips Farmer John Bacon, cut in half crosswise*
2 medium Fuji or Granny Smith apples, cored and peeled,
cut in 3/4-inch slices
6 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
11. Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until it just
starts to brown but is still limp; drain.
2. Wrap each bacon piece around an apple slice. Secure
with a toothpick.
3. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and
blend well. Dip both sides of each bacon bite in sugar,
pressing into bacon.
4. Broil 4 inches from heat 2-3 minutes per side, or until
bacon is browned, turning once. Makes 8 servings.

chili seasoning flour tortillas
2 teaspoons salt 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
8 fillet steaks, 1 avocado, pitted,
about 8 ounces each peeled and sliced
In a small bowl, combine
