Dare Foods Margarita Parfait
FROM THE MEMBER’S KITCHEN
A light parfait made with cool-tasting lime and crunchy
crackers is an excellent way to end the Fifth of May celebration.
1. Put crackers and sugar in food processor. While running,
add melted butter and process until you have fine crumbs.
2. Mix yogurt with triple sec, tequila and lime zest. Fold in
dessert topping until well incorporated. Costco Member

3. In a parfait glass, add a spoon of yogurt filling and
then top with a thick layer of cracker crumbs. Repeat until
glass is full.
4. Sprinkle a pinch of lime zest on top. Garnish with a slice of lime. For fun, serve in a margarita glass with a salted rim. Norco Ranch Tutti-Frutti Meringue Round

1 cup plus

3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon grated
orange peel

raspberries and/or grapes; sliced peaches, strawberries,
apples, carambolas (starfruit) and/or peeled kiwi;

1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
4 8-ounce containers lime-flavored yogurt
2 tablespoons triple sec
2 tablespoons tequila
2 teaspoons grated lime zest, plus more for garnish
16 ounces whipped dessert topping

2 cups lard
(or extract)
2 eggs
11 cup sugar
11 teaspoon
crushed
anise seed
6 cups sifted flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water (or wine)

thoroughly. Add sugar and

lard mixture, blending
until light and fluffy.
