Burrito Cacerola
No one will ever guess
that this dish was prepared
1 19-ounce can Hormel/Stagg Classic Chili in less than
10 minutes.
1 9-inch piecrust, baked 3 cups instant rice
1 cup sour cream 3/4 cup chunky salsa
1 21/4-ounce can chopped olives, drained 1/2 cup water
3/4 cup crushed tortilla chips 8 El Monterey Shredded Beef
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese & Cheese Burritos, frozen*
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
4 ounces diced green chiles
(half of small can)
Preheat oven to 425°F. Pour chili into piecrust. In a bowl,
mix sour cream, olives and tortilla chips. Spread over chili.
8 ounces shredded
Sprinkle cheese over filling. Bake 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese
top with green onions. Makes 6 servings.

Plan ahead for one of those nights when cooking is
just out of the question by baking and then freezing
this pie. Reheat at 375°F for 10 to 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a 9-by-13-inch baking pan,
combine rice, salsa and water. Spread mixture evenly to

Pita Envelopes rice mixture. Spread chiles evenly over burritos, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and garnish with sliced olives.

add shrimp to the lettuce mixture and drizzle with yogurt
dressing. Stuff into pita bread halves and serve immediately.
