Who is eligible?
All eligible entrants must be 18 years of age
or older and be current card-carrying members of
Costco Wholesale employees are not eligible to
enter the member contest. There is a separate contest
for Costco Wholesale employees and their families.

How many photos can I enter?
One entry per membership cardholder is allowed.
Are professional photographers allowed to
enter the competition?
Yes. All current Costco Wholesale employees are
eligible to enter.
Am I allowed to digitally alter my photographs?
Yes. However, no special consideration will be given
for technical difficulty. All photos will be judged by the

How and when will the winners be notified?
Once the winning photos have been selected, the
winners will be notified by mail. The winning employee
photos will be printed in the January/February issue of
Costco Today in the following calendar year.
Will my photo be returned?
All mailed-in photographs become the property of
Costco Wholesale and will not be returned. However,
all photographers will continue to hold original copyright
of the entered photograph.
Do I need to resize my photo to enter online?
There is no need to resize your photo for online
submission. If you wish to crop your photo for
compositional reasons, that is recommended, but
please stay within the 4" x 6" size requirements.
Are only international photos eligible?
While this is an international competition, the theme
is “Focus On Costco.” This year we’re emphasizing our
company, our jobs and our lives as co-workers wherever
we may find ourselves. The judges are simply looking for
the best you have to offer.
