Black Forest Ham
with Roasted Parsnips and
Bourbon Pepper Glaze

¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup maple syrup
3 tablespoons
balsamic vinegar
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons ground
black pepper
¼ cup bourbon
1 1.75-pound package

sliced Black Forest ham
3 pounds parsnips,
peeled and halved
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, maple syrup,
vinegar, garlic, pepper and bourbon. Cook over
medium-high heat until reduced by half. Set aside.
Place sliced ham in a baking pan with the
parsnips around the edges. Bake for 30 minutes,
or until the ham is warmed through and the
parsnips are tender.
Pour the glaze over the ham and parsnips
and return to the oven for 10 minutes. Serve
immediately. Makes 8 servings.

Hormel Foods
1 16-ounce package
elbow macaroni
1 12-ounce can SPAM Less
Sodium, cubed
1 cup diced
Hormel pepperoni
1 onion, chopped
1 16-ounce jar pizza sauce
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
5 teaspoons grated
Parmesan or Romano
cheese
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook macaroni according to package directions
and drain.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook SPAM,
pepperoni and onion until lightly browned.
In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni,
the SPAM mixture and pizza sauce. Slowly
stir in 3 cups mozzarella.
Place the mixture in a casserole. Sprinkle with
the remaining mozzarella and the Parmesan.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until thoroughly heated
and the cheese is melted. Makes 6 servings.
