Observing the round-the-clock workings of
a busy Costco warehouse proved a fun
assignment for Connection reporters Fifield
and Jones, and an interesting read for all
members. This article originally ran in our
April 2004 issue.
What tornado?
When the 2 a.m. crew arrives, the main aisles are
literally filled with pallet stacks of merchandise
15 feet high and stretching the entire length of the
warehouse. The side aisles, shown above, are
littered with pallets and boxes.
