Fall flicks for the family

Iron Man. Self-absorbed playboy Tony
Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is an engineering
genius. He can build almost anything he can
imagine. His technology company, Stark
Enterprises, builds weapons capable of previously unimaginable destruction. But a turn of
events forces him to reassess his life’s work
and lifestyle, after which he wants only to protect the people his company has put in harm’s

Speed Racer. Based on the popular animated series. Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch) is
an aggressive, instinctive and fearless race
car driver. He is loyal to the family racing
business, led by his father, Pops Racer (John
Goodman). With their support, Speed teams
with Racer X (Matthew Fox), formerly a
rival, to compete in a cross-country rally
known as the Crucible. Available on DVD

Forgetting Sarah Marshall. When his
girlfriend, Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell),
breaks up with him, Peter Bretter’s (Jason
Segel) self-confidence crumbles. Bretter, a
television writer and composer, decides to
take a vacation in Hawaii for a change of
scenery and to get over his failed relationship.
But he runs into Marshall, who is on vacation
with her new romantic interest. Awkward
situations make both parties uncomfortable.
