1/2 cup olive oil

Mix olive oil, soy sauce and steak seasoning in a
Place steaks in a large resealable plastic bag or a glass
dish. Add marinade; turn to coat well. Refrigerate for
30 minutes, or longer for extra flavor.

To prepare the potatoes, cut in quarters and place in
a medium saucepan. Cover with cold water. Bring
to a boil, reduce heat to medium and cook for 10

return to the saucepan on low heat.
Sprinkle potatoes with Parmesan, steak seasoning
and garlic powder. Mash potatoes, gradually adding
milk, sour cream and butter. Mix until potatoes are
fluffy. Serve immediately. Makes 8 servings.

Beef Sirloin and Portobello Stew

frozen sirloin patties ,
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon extra-virgin
6 cups chopped portobello
2 cups frozen pearl onions
2 plum tomatoes
2 cups frozen cut
1 14-ounce can reduced-sodium beef broth
2/3 cup red wine
2 teaspoons chopped fresh
1/2 teaspoon dried
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly
Place sirloin patties in a bowl and sprinkle with flour.
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add patties (reserving excess flour) and cook until
browned. Remove from the pan.
Add mushrooms, onions and tomatoes to the pan
and cook, scraping up any browned bits, until the
vegetables have released their juices, about 3 minutes.
Sprinkle the reserved flour over the vegetables; stir to
coat. Add green beans, beef broth, wine, thyme, salt
and pepper; increase heat to a boil, stirring often.
Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, until the
broth has thickened, about 5 minutes.
Cut the sirloin patties into bite-size pieces and add to
the pan with any accumulated juices. Cook, stirring
often, until heated through, about 2 minutes.
