Tell us your story!
DID YOU START a business in
college that you still operate
today? If so, we’d like to hear
from you for a possible story in
a future issue of The
Connection. Drop us a brief
email about when you started
the business, what it does and
how long it has survived, with
your name and contact information, including phone number, to

include “College business” in
the subject line.
Advertising and products
in The Connection
• All ads indicate whether a product
is available in the warehouse, on
Costco.com or both.
• Products are scheduled to be available
during The Connection’s month of publication and are noted as in warehouse
“early in month” (1st to 10th), “
mid-month” (11th to 21st) or “late in month”
(22nd to 31st).
• Shop early in the month for the best
selection of seasonal items.
• Costco.com carries many of the
products available at the warehouses,
and offers thousands of additional
items, including line extensions and
supplemental products.
• Prices are usually not listed because
they have not been ;nalized at the
time of printing and may vary from
one part of the country to another due
to shipping costs. We hope members
know to check Costco ;rst when
comparison shopping.
• To keep prices low, Costco does not
offer a telephone service allowing
members to call in for prices or
product availability.

Financial Connection page with information
on retirement strategies and also saw an ad
for check printing, a service that I didn’t even
know Costco provided. Andrea Peck’s article
on Lyme disease [“Targeting Lyme disease”]
was also excellent. The New England states
have had the tick diseases for a long time, but
in the Midwest it is a new topic that residents
are just beginning to hear about. In Indiana
the number of cases has jumped 70 percent in
the last few years. Keep up the good work!

April issue: Cars and car care
Congratulations on the April issue. Can
you guys get any better? This edition was
wonderful, especially the “Motor maniacs”
[cover story]. Really enjoyed all of it, especially the way to maintain your vehicle [“The
skinny on synthetic oil,” “Assault on your battery,” “Choosing the best tire,” “Prepping and
primping your car,” “Buyers’ picks”]. Many
novices such as myself seem to forget that
your vehicles are the second most important
purchase you will make, next to your home.
