AT THE BEGINNING of this year I vowed to
make 2016 my “year of adventure.” Adventure
means many di;erent things to di;erent people: new foods, a new vacation spot, trying
out a new hobby or class, or even being a
tourist in your own town.
;is holiday season I extended “
adventure” into my gi; giving. ;anks to the wide
array of gi; card choices at Costco, available
both in the warehouse and at Costco.com, I
completed my holiday shopping within hours,
including the purchase of gi; bags and tags.
I also found many treasures at the recently
launched
Costcotickets.com (see sidebar for
details of this exciting new program). I purchased concert tickets (Andrea Bocelli) for
my mother-in-law, NBA tickets for my
brother and his kids, and Harlem Globetrotters
tickets for me and my family. Check, check
and three-point shot.

satisfy their cravings at more than 750 restaurants throughout the U.S.

ommends using your tickets for new movies
during peak times.
Go City Cards
Since my dad and his girlfriend will be
going to Hawaii soon, I purchased a Go City
Card for them at Costco.com. City Cards
o;er more than 55 percent savings on normal
ticket prices over the course of several days,
depending on which pass you choose.
