DECEMBER 2016 The Costco Connection 49
TODAY’S TVs are incredibly exciting, with their
big screens, sleek, thin designs and crystal-clear
images. They’ve come such a long way in just
a decade in terms of picture quality and price.
But there’s one addition you should consider:
an enhanced sound system that will complement your TV and complete your home entertainment experience.
An excellent audio solution is a sound
bar. Sound bars are easy to set up with a
single cable connection to your TV, and we’re
carrying a variety of them in the warehouses
and on Costco.com. As the buyer for these
products, I’m particularly excited to offer the
Bose Solo Soundbar. Bose is famous for sound
quality, and it’s impressive to hear Bose performance in such a compact
design when watching TV
or listening to music in
your home.
The Bose Solo is a
simple, one-piece sound
bar solution designed to
enhance your TV experience. At 22 inches long,
it sits nicely on your TV stand or mounted on
the wall beneath your TV (the wall mounting
bracket is included). Bose engineers have used
the company’s famous technologies to make
dialogue, sounds and music clear and full—the
way they were intended to be.
Another convenient feature with the Bose
Solo is Bluetooth connectivity. This enables you
to stream music wirelessly from your smart-
phone, tablet or PC. Listening to your music
with the Bose Solo sound system allows the
audio to completely fill the room with all the
rich tones that can get lost in a smaller speaker.
You’ll find the Bose Solo Soundbar at your
local Costco and at Costco.com at a great
value. Item #1062725.—Heather Cantwell
THE COMPUTER WORLD offers many choices
to fit any need. If you’re looking for the powerful performance of a laptop for business
but also would like a tablet for more casual
use, a 2-in- 1 may be just what your inner
techie craves. And Costco has one that presents great quality and value.
These 2-in-1s are really handy, and the
HP Envy x360 Convertible 13-y013cl is a pow-
erhouse. With a new seventh-generation Intel
Core i7 processor, a sharp quad HD +3200
x 1800 touch-screen display, 16 GB of RAM
and a 256 GB solid-state drive (SSD), there is
virtually no computer task you can’t achieve.
Wait until you experience the boot-up speed
the SSD provides, not to mention the snappier experience all around.
A 360-degree hinge gives you four modes
of productivity—laptop, tablet, stand and
tent—and the aluminum body is both
stylish and durable. This is the best
2-in- 1 laptop ever offered in our warehouses, and other configurations are
available on Costco.com.
You can expect savings over
comparable models offered
elsewhere, and Costco
extends the manufacturer’s
warranty to two years
from date of purchase.
