THERE ARE MANY chocolate-related
national days throughout all months of the
year. December is particularly full of them,
with National Sacher Torte Day (December 5),
National Chocolate Brownie Day (December
8), National Cocoa Day (December 12),
National Chocolate-Covered Anything Day
(December 16) and National Chocolate Day
on December 28.
To celebrate, add a little chocolate to your
day. Hot chocolate is always good at breakfast.
A tall glass of chocolate milk pairs well with
any meal. Or try a traditional molé sauce,
made with cocoa powder, for dinner (and top
it all o; with a decadent chocolate dessert).
Get creative and experiment by pairing chocolate with dishes and food items you wouldn’t
usually think about putting together.
