STARTING SEPTEMBER ;, ;;;;, an important change is happening for Costco Travel and Executive members: Executive members will receive a ;; Reward on Costco Travel purchases.

Details. Executive members who book vacation packages, cruises and rental cars and begin travel on or after September ;, ;;;;, will earn an annual ;; Reward on these purchases. The reward will be in addition to any other Executive benefits available within a vacation package or cruise.

To qualify, travel must begin on or after September ;, ;;;;. Purchases must be made directly from Costco Travel, either through the Costco Travel website or by calling Costco Travel. The member must be an Executive member when travel begins.

Exclusions. The ;; Reward program excludes taxes, fees, surcharges, gratuities and trip protection insurance. It also excludes purchases through a third party, such as activities, tours, baggage fees, rental car equipment, port charges, resort and cruise line fees and similar extras.

Q&A. If my vacation starts in October and I upgrade to Executive membership now, will my purchase be applied toward my annual ;; Reward? Yes, as long as you are an Executive member when you depart on your vacation made directly from Costco Travel.

As an Executive member, do I get both rewards when I purchase a Costco Travel package or rental car with my Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi? Yes, if you are an Executive member and you use your Costco Anywhere Visa Card, you will earn ;; cash-back rewards, as well as the Executive membership annual ;; Reward on Costco Travel purchases. This is a great way to maximize savings.
