I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Three small dogs, two cats, my
husband and I. All in a queen bed.
Depends on what kind of pet. If it
is a Tasmanian devil, wolverine or a
boa constrictor then maybe it’s not
such a good idea.
Our cats sleep in bed with us
whenever they want. I’ve got anxiety and petting them is a known
de-stresser. It really helps to have
that aid within arm’s reach on
those sleepless nights when my
mind won’t settle down.
Ours sleep beside our bed in the
same room, not in the bed. They
are corgis. Do you know how
much corgis shed? Not in the
bed, please. They are happy;
we are happy.

I sleep horribly if my dog is not
sleeping with me. I’ve recently also
rescued a cat, so my dog is glued
to my side. The cat sleeps with us
sometimes too. They both keep
me warm, feeling safe, and I love
their little baby snores!
My cat waits till I’m asleep and I’m
unable to prevent her from jumping
on the bed. Surrender is my only
defense. Please pray for me.
I didn’t know we had a choice.

Is it OK for your pets to
sleep in bed with you?
VETERINARY AND human health experts are divided on the subject. While
some claim diseases can be spread to humans from their pets, others say
that if your dog or cat has regular veterinary visits, the risk is low. Sleep
quality is another issue, with some health experts noting that an animal
may disturb your sleep, and others saying that having a pet on the bed
may help you to feel safe and secure.
