ADVERTISING AND PRODUCTS
All ads indicate whether a
product is available in the warehouse, on Costco.com or both.
Products are scheduled to
be available during the
Connection’s month of publication and are noted as in warehouse “early in month” (1st to
10th), “mid-month” (11th to 21st)
or “late in month” (22nd to 31st).
Shop early in the month for the
best selection of seasonal items.
Costco.com carries many of the
products available at the warehouses, and offers thousands of
additional items, including line
extensions and supplemental
products. Prices are usually not
listed because they have not
been finalized at the time of
printing and may vary from one
part of the country to another
due to shipping costs. We hope
members know to check Costco
first when comparison shopping.
To keep prices low, Costco does
not offer a telephone service
allowing members to call in for
prices or product availability.

Costco members and the military
Loved the article “Honoring our veterans,”
November 2018.
—Becky Morrison, Poquoson, Virginia
Winning recipes
Great recipes in the November issue!
I made the skillet chicken (“Cooking with
wine”), bruschetta (Farm to Table) and raspberry hand pies (“Quick and easy”) all in one
night for friends, and they loved everything!
—Donna Jones, Santa Rosa, California
KitchenAid memories
My parents married in 1970 in Brooklyn,
New York. In 1975 my father gifted my mother
with a 5-quart white KitchenAid (“A stirring
revelation,” October 2018). He requested she
bake challah bread each week in honor of the
Sabbath. For the past 43 years, my mother
has baked challah bread every single Friday,
with the exclusion of the week of Passover.
The white KitchenAid, along with my
mother’s fresh challah, is legendary in
our family.
—Rochel Litzman, Monsey, New York
Cashew program
Such an interesting article about cashews
(“Nuts for perfection,” October 2018)—where
they are grown, how they are picked and
processed, and the season only being March
through May.
This is such a fun magazine to read.
I really enjoy it.
—Jean Ambrosius, De Pere, Wisconsin
Safety check
I am responding to the “This Month”
October article “Be road-ready.” At least one
item should be added to the list: Check your
headlights, taillights and turn signals. The
days are shorter everywhere and it’s dark.
Also—remember to turn them on earlier! You
might be able to see, but can others see you?
—Laura Wallrath, Juneau, Alaska
November correction
In “Know your type” the description
of Type 1 diabetes should have read:
“Type 1 diabetes most typically a;ects
children and adolescents, but it can
occur anytime over a life span.”
