Sesame-Crusted Grilled Ahi Tuna
in Ginger Soy Marinade
WESTERN UNITED FISH COMPANY
1 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
5 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
2 fresh Western United Fish Company ahi tuna steaks
Sesame seeds
Canola oil
1. Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, brown sugar and orange juice
together for the marinade.
2. Place ahi in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
3. Remove ahi from the marinade and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
4. Brush grill with canola oil. Grill ahi over hot coals for 3 minutes per side,
or until it is seared. Makes 2 servings.
To serve with grilled vegetables: Prepare sweet potato, eggplant, red bell
pepper, zucchini, red onion and asparagus spears for grilling. Brush with olive
oil, sprinkle with salt and a dash of pepper, and grill.
