Sushi Dipping Sauces
OKAMI
Use these dipping sauces with Okami* Sushi, available in your local Costco deli:
CREAMY CHILI/SESAME SAUCE
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons chili sauce
1 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
Combine all ingredients and blend well. Makes 4 servings.
SOY DIPPING SAUCE
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon corn oil
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
Combine all ingredients and blend well. Makes 4 servings.

Sweet Mini Peppers Stuffed with
Tuna and Salmon Tartare

3 ounces fresh tuna, pureed 4-6 Divine Flavor* Babylicious
3 ounces fresh salmon, pureed peppers, halved and seeded
1/3 cup pitted black olives, Assorted lettuce leaves
finely chopped Furikake (Japanese seasoning
1/3 cup chopped ginger in syrup mix of sesame seeds
1 teaspoon soy sauce and flavorings)
1 teaspoon rice vinegar DRESSING
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar 1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Asian sesame oil 2 pieces star anise, crushed
Salt 1 teaspoon saffron threads
Pepper
1. In a bowl, combine tuna, salmon, olives, ginger, soy sauce, vinegars,
sugar, sesame oil, and salt and pepper to taste.
2. To prepare the dressing, combine all ingredients in a small saucepan
and cook over medium-low heat until slightly reduced.
3. Place half peppers on lettuce leaves and stuff with the tuna and
salmon tartare. Pour dressing over peppers. Sprinkle with furikake.
Makes 2-4 servings.
